
About the project
Preparing and equipping a capacity assessment tool related to the Public Health Emergency Center in Hajj and Umrah areas, based on international best practices and according to the International Health Regulations, and a pilot application of the tool, which is designed to assess the readiness and effectiveness of Hajj areas in responding to public health emergencies, in addition to transferring knowledge to the public health centers team and training them on the use of performance.

The main objectives of the project
- Strengthening cooperation between the Public Health Agency, relevant authorities and public health emergency centers.
- Improve decision-making based on accurate and up-to-date information.
- Improve resource allocation and use during a public health emergency.

The project Outputs
- The tool includes specific criteria and indicators for assessing the effectiveness of emergency management systems, allowing for an objective assessment.
- A comprehensive assessment covering various aspects of emergency management, including preparedness, response, coordination, communication and recovery.
