
About the project
In collaboration with Ektefaa and Wathba, BEAM has worked on a comprehensive research process aimed at assessing the social, economic and cultural impacts of urban development areas. The project conducts a community field survey of the popular Breiman neighborhood in Jeddah to identify the target communities, the standard of living, and the nature of relations within the community

The main objectives of the project
- Measuring social, demographic, educational, practical, economic, environmental, health, safety and quality of life indicators among current residents of Breiman.
- Measuring the SDG and UN-Habitat indicators for adequate housing standards.
- Documenting the social, health, educational, housing and economic needs of slum dwellers.
