
About the project
In cooperation with the Public Investment Fund and the National Program for Community Development in the regions, BEAM worked on a comprehensive research process, this study aims to provide a comprehensive and integrated vision of the effects of development projects on the population in the AlUla region, and to provide practical recommendations to mitigate the negative effects and enhance the potential benefits, thus contributing to achieving sustainable development and ensuring the well-being of the affected community.

The main objectives of the project
- Developing the governorate, achieving sustainable transformation and enhancing its position as one of the important archaeological and cultural destinations.
- Promoting the governorate to receive visitors from all over the world.
- Contribute to the advancement of the archaeology, tourism, culture, education, arts and environment sectors in the region in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.
- Understand the perceptions of people affected by the project.
- Identify potential host communities or places to which to move.
