About the project
BEAM in cooperation with the Public Investment Fund and the National Program for Community Development in the regions worked on a comprehensive research process.
The main objectives of the project
- Comprehensive development of the Grand Mosque area, and improving the quality of life in the region.
- Increasing the capacity to host increasing numbers of visitors coming to the Kingdom to perform Hajj and Umrah.
- Improving the hospitality sector, the quality of services provided in accordance with the best international standards and achieving the goals of Vision 2030.
- Understand the perceptions of people affected by the project.
- Identify potential host communities, or places to move to.
The project Outputs
- The study included data on the impact of development projects on the population in the Ru’a Al-Haram area.
