About the project
In collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, BEAM has undertaken a comprehensive research process aimed at assessing the social, economic and cultural impacts of relocating residents from the historic Jeddah area.
The main objectives of the project
- Assessment of social status.
- Analyze the demographic aspects of the target community.
- Identify the categories most in need.
- Understand livelihoods and economic activity.
- Understand health conditions.
- Understand social relationships and dynamics.
- Facilitate the population transition process for families and individuals residing within the scope of the Historic Jeddah Al Balad project.
The project Outputs
- The study included data on population transport and its impact on the historical area of Jeddah.
